Our friends and colleagues are often asking about our travels and endeavours. At Beyond the Bubble we want to share more widely the fun and challenges we experience going outside the boundaries of our everyday life: our ‘bubble’.
Vicky: I grew up in Yorkshire and have always loved outdoor activities including running, hiking, cycling and off-piste skiing. My travel bug began at 18 when my father moved to Brunei and I spent university summers travelling around South East Asia. I’ve visited over 100 countries and have worked in several. I am inspired by the natural and cultural diversity of this planet, which I attempt to capture in my photos.
Trevor: I have a passion for travel, sport and technology. I grew up in England with the occasional family trip to Jamaica which fuelled my curiosity for seeing new places. This was further reinforced when I explored Europe by rail between school and university. Running, cycling, skiing and kayaking are among my favourite sports and are a great way to experience new places. It’s my belief that travel can broaden the mind if you’re open to the experience and technology allows us to share our journeys with many more people than ever before.
